Mollie came into care as an emergency when her owner went into hospital. After a few days her owner came out of hospital and Mollie resumed her usual place in front of the fire!
This is Oscar
Jake came to a KYP foster home when his owner had to go into hospital for a short time. Both are now reunited and owner is fully recovered.
Toddy in the box...
Lexi was the gentlest & most affectionate dog we had fostered - gentle even when she was barging into you on the Knavesmire or standing on your foot.
She loved everyone - adults, children & other dogs. She likes playing with a ball (especially if it belongs to another dog) & playing chase with all other dogs. She had bonded well with her previous foster carer's two dogs & enjoyed meeting them again on the Knavemire.
She was quite overweight when she arrived but the playing, running and jumping has done her good (she can actually run quite fast now) and she has lost some weight although needs to lose more. We gave her one meal a day, the occasional bone and hide bones, a tripe stick at bedtime & few if any commercial treats. Apart from a few aggreived looks she was fine.
